CANCUN
The arrival in Cancun offers to most travelers the possibility
to purchase an economical flight to Mexico (Charter). We will
pick you up at the airport and bring you to Playa del Carmen.
We will even make a reservation for you in a respectable hotel
that suits your budget. You can choose to stay in Playa or go
to Tulum when you wish to (More economical). You will have many
days in the area depending on the arrival date of you flight.
2.
PLAYA DEL CARMEN
The time you will spend in Playa del Carmen will be at your
own discretion, since the arrival of the entire group will be
over different flights over the weekend. It will be possible
for you to enjoy the Caribbean beach a couple of days before
we hit the road. You may choose to stay in the City of Tulum
if you wish to. We will than come and get you on our way to
Belize.
3.
BELIZE AND BELIZE CITY
We
will spend very little time in Belize, you will look around,
maybe do a little shopping and walk in this strange ambiance.
Belize is completely different from the rest of the surrounding
countries. Almost
immediately we will be off to Tikal, Guatemala.
4.
TIKAL, GUATEMALA
We
will arrive in Tikal in the evening; we will propose to stay
on the camping site of the archeological site. This permits
us to see the sunrise on temple 4 the next morning. There are
also rooms available. You will have all day to visit the ruins
that day. There is an interesting zoo to visit on the PatÈn
ItzÝ Lake. Monkeys and other animals are to be seen. We will
spend the night in the city of Flores. Next day we hit the road
for Antigua, Guatemala.

ANTIGUA, GUATEMALAã
Antigua is the most ancient colonial city on America. Most of
the hotels reside in buildings more than 200 years old, some
very impressive and at very reasonable rates. We believe that
one day and a half is more than enough to visit the beauty of
the town. There is also a famous expedition on an active volcano
to those who will want to. (Price approx.:
20$ us)
6.
PANAJACHEL, LAKE ATITLAN, GUATEMALA
The beauty of the landscape will amaze you; the view is breathtaking.
We will spend 2 days around this intriguing lake surrounded
by 3 volcanoes and 7 small villages. Time and technology seems
to have forgotten these people, most live in a most traditional
way. The rituals the clothes and the languages have not changed
in a hundred years. You can decide to climb one of the vBy foot
or by Horse, you decide. You can also choose to stay the night
at the San Pedro village and come back the next day. For the
others the city of Panajachel offers a great choice of restaurants
and bars to party and enjoy the nightlife.
7.
CHICHICASTENANGO MARKET
The most important market in Guatemala, there you will find
gifts and souvenirs for family and friends. You will find all
sorts of crafts at incredibly low prices. This trip is included
in the Funky Tours package and will be on Sunday.
8.
PALENQUE, MEXICO
We
will propose an incredible site in the jungle at 4 km from the
ruins, where you will be able to set up your tent or rent a
nice little cabin in the jungle. The visit of the ruins will
be at you own discretion the next day. A group diner will be
organized in the jungle for those who wish to. The time and
the place are perfect to meet people and chat a little. The
next day will be the visit of the Misol-Ha waterfall and the
Agua Azul cascades. You will have all day to walk around and
relax.
9.
PLAYA DEL CARMEN.
Back where you started. Enjoy the beach and other local attractions
before you return back home
